BABETTE'S FEAST
A Four Hour Guided Walking Tour of Montreal's Plateau
Saturdays, by reservation
In the heart of Montreal is a tiny tea shop, Au Festin de Babette, or Babette's Feast - filled with delightful pastries, imported French treats, decadent chocolates, elegant pizzas, exotic teas, and more.
The shop is a wonderful metaphor for the bounty, variety and exuberance that characterize this dynamic, French speaking neighborhood.
Join us for a four hour guided walking tour of this neighborhood: The Plateau, Montreal's most vibrant quartier. Focusing particularly on rue Mont Royal and rue St Denis, we'll visit a rich selection of specialty foodshops, cafés, clothing boutiques, and bookstores.
Walking, we'll savor many delights of Plateau culture. We'll connect to the area's French heritage, and indulge ourselves in its joie de vivre.
And of course we'll stop at Au Festin de Babette, to experience this delicious metaphor in all its depth!
Babette's Feast includes

- métro passes as needed
- recommendations for dining, shopping or strolling before or after your tour
Not included
